The Best Halloween Decorations & Fall Decorating Ideas to Scare Them a Little TOO Much
Mystic Art Design & M. H./Pixabay | Design: Bad Introverts Club
This year, you’re showing them that your abode is the real stuff of nightmares, Freddie’s version just a warm-up. This year, you’re showing the ‘energy from without’ers that maybe they should’ve kept their energy and themselves within their house for once.
This year, you’re showing that you’ve had enough of the underestimating. They didn’t think you were scary, they did think you were scary because you didn’t so much as tip your head when they looked your way. Whatever, now you’re giving them what they want.
You’re giving them scary in your front yard. And if they have the little bit left of audacity and gall they came with to enter your home (extroverts failing to read the room as always), you’re seeking major payback.
Or if anything, the scariest parts of all will be the price tags on some of these decked-out decorations. Either way, here are the best Halloween decorations and outdoor fall decor we could find to seasonally spruce up your crib without sprucing it up TOO much where people get the impression you’re inviting them in for pumpkin spice cookies. (Rule one of Bad Introverts Club: Pumpkin spice is never shared.)

Sam
Spirit Halloween
Those who know, know.
If you’ve been a Netflix member (or was milking off of someone else’s) for a long while, you might recognize this character and the movie he came from called Trick ‘r Treat.
Set to music straight from the movie, this animatronic actually moves and reenacts his own actions then takes off his burlap slack to reveal his horrific face.
But what might be more horrific after this season is seeing your next electricity bill after Sam finishes crashing your front yard for a month.
Sitting Scarecrow Animatronic
Spirit Halloween
This one may or may not keep the crows, trick or treaters, and/or extroverts away.
We still give it an A for creativity and higher-end outdoor Halloween decor. This scarecrow animatronic might just be 4 ft. But it might still leave a person shaking in their boots (the scarecrow’s are pretty nice, though, we might add) when it suddenly whips up its head by itself when it is approached.
Expressive Pumpkins
Grandin Road
Whether as indoor Halloween decor or a quirky fall decorating idea, these papier–mâché designed pumpkins will definitely weird out a few people (good, because they were never supposed to come in) or at least make them chuckle. (But we’re reeeally hoping it does the former and makes them leave because they were never supposed to come in.)
Family Monogram Initial Small Personalized
Pumpkins in Orange
Bed Bath & Beyond
Now, for more normal things, normal pumpkins, just for the family (that may or may not be normal).
After scaring off the intruders from the premises, make your abode seasonally cozy with these personalized gourds, monograms with each member’s first letter initial.
Not-so-(un)welcoming Halloween front door mats
shopdivineivy/Etsy | NickelDesignsShop/Etsy
These two doormats both perfectly summarize the two types of introverted communication with outsiders: not ambiguously unwelcoming and more ambiguously (or curtly) welcoming…which is really kind of the same thing as not welcoming.
In other words, it’s a nice rude.
Fall Color-Inspired Printable Wall Art
It’s a known thing: Introverts have to recharge away from the public.
It’s also a known thing that they tend to be resourceful with their own means, by own company and by own action. Printable wall decor for the fall season in autumn-inspired plum colors that you can have in your own desired size instantly at home with a solid printer pretty much adds up.
Additionally, the “Home” printable wall art is personalized, you providing adjectives that you think best describe home to you within the word’s outlined letters.
Fall Wreath for Front Door
Vofuly
Wreaths aren’t only for Christmas. We don’t care what anyone says. Just as much as we don’t care what they say about our social habits.
Also, notice how the fall wreath says, “Happy Harvest” (with no sugary exclamation point) rather than “Welcome.” There goes the “nice” but not too nice thing we’ve been discussing here. Those who know, know.
Nice rude for the win once again.
